Club Description
The goal of the Brandeis Mountain Club is to serve the Brandeis community by coordinating and leading outdoor trips in the Northeast and across the country. We provide the majority of equipment for participants in addition to subsidizing a substantial portion or all of trip costs. For those wishing to lead their own excursions, we have a large assortment of camping, backpacking and climbing gear to borrow for no fee. Our trips include backpacking, rock climbing, camping, snowshoeing, ice climbing, hiking mountain biking, kayaking, river rafting winter mountaineering and bonfiring among others. Meetings are Monday nights at 10 PM in the Usdan ATM lounge during the semester.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
