Last Latte issue of the Semester posted by Jonathan Zornow in Technical Support May 8, 2008

As of 7:21 AM 5/8/2008, Latte appears to be down. When I try to access anything at moodle.brandeis.edu, I get the following message:

Error: Database connection failed.

It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly.

The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php

I am connecting from off-campus.

The Moodle database was brought back up around 8:45, and everyone should be able to log in again.

Why when I try to log into Latte does it tell me my password is expired but I have no opportunity to change it????

jgoon0001: Your password now shows last changed yesterday, so I'm guessing you resolved the problem. If you'd like to help people who might be in the same situation in the future, you could post what was wrong and what you did to fix it.
