Club Description
BEMCo is Brandeis University's emergency medical first response service. BEMCo members are Massachusetts State certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the academic year. BEMCo is staffed entirely by Brandeis students. An EMT course is offered every spring by BEMCo and is taught by an outside instructor. Students who have been certified out of state are encouraged to obtain reciprocity from the Massachusetts Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services. Please direct all emergency calls to the Brandeis University Police at x63333
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
