Club Description
We are the Brandeis sub-chapter of FACE AIDS, the international youth movement of Partners in Health. We are dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and promoting health care systems throughout Africa.
Our primary method of fundraising is selling pins. FACE AIDS employs HIV-positive women in Africa with steady, safe, and well-paying jobs to make our AIDS ribbon pins. By doing this, these women are not forced to work in the sex trade. We then sell our pins for a minimum $5 donation and donate 100% of the proceeds to building a health center in Rwanda.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
