Club Description

Chabad is a philosophy, a movement, and an organization. The word "Chabad" is a Hebrew acronym for the three intellectual faculties of chochmah/wisdom, binah/comprehension and da'at/knowledge. The movement's system of Jewish religious philosophy teaches understanding and recognition of the Creator. The philosophy guides a person to refine his and her every act and feeling through wisdom, comprehension and knowledge. Since its inception 250 years ago, Chabad has provided scholars with the answers that eluded them and simple farmers with a love that had been denied them. Our goal at Brandeis is to promote the study and discipline of Chabad Chassidut to all members of the Brandeis community.

This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
