Club Description
China Care is a foundation (www.chinacare.org) that provides support and medical care to orphans in China with special medical needs. The China Care Club is now a chartered club at Brandeis University as of Spring 2010. Our main aim as a club is to raise funds to provide life-saving surgeries, foster care, health care, education, and all the basic necessities for the 50,000 orphans in China. The club also provides the opportunity to spend a 10 day summer trip volunteering at a Chinese orphanage to help the children directly. We also provide services to US families that have adopted Chinese children. China Care emphasizes “the power of one” and enables each individual to make a huge impact on the lives of many. Please join me in this cause, I am really determined to make a difference in the lives of these children.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
