Club Description

A new kind of theater comes to Brandeis through the Free Play Theater Cooperative (FPTC). Free Play is a community. Free Play is about more than just producing theater, it is about creating art in a way you can be proud of. FPTC is here to help everyone tell their story, their narrative, through theater and be a creative outlet for directors, actors and designers to freely express themselves without the concern of commercial success. We believe that theater is a megaphone for people to express themselves with and that voice should not be limited by roles or casting. We are here to create a community of people dedicated to helping others put on their shows and realize their vision.

This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
