Club Description
At Jazz Standard we have two types of meetings: listening meetings and jam sessions. At listening meetings members may bring in or suggest jazz, blues, or funk music to be played for the group. Members will discover new and interesting songs and appreciate old standards. At jam sessions, musicians will come together to perform a wide variety of jazz songs in order to improve their talent and ability and meet like-minded musicians.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
