Club Description
The goal of the Brandeis Mountain Club is to serve the Brandeis community by coordinating and leading outdoor trips in the Northeast and across the country. Every trip we run is entirely free, and we have all the gear you need. For those wishing to lead their own excursions, we have a large assortment of camping, backpacking and climbing gear to borrow for no fee. Our regular trips include backpacking, rock climbing, camping, snowshoeing, ice climbing, hiking mountain biking, kayaking, winter mountaineering, and bonfiring among others. This year we will also be going white water rafting, hangliding, bungee jumping, hot air ballooning, zip-lining, dog sledding, snowmobiling, and much more. Currenlt we have around 900 members. Meetings are Monday nights at 10 PM in the Usdan Gluck Lounge next to the courtyard during the semester.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
