Club Description
PP1-Brandeis is a student chapter of Project Plus One non-profit organization founded by students at Brandeis and Northeastern University. Our chapter works with a health clinic in East Timor, the youngest nation in South East Asia, to implement a sustainable development project to improve health of those living in poverty. Members will learn about processes of sustainable international development projects including designing, implementing, and evaluating. We devise teams to compete for grant funding, conduct research, plan fund-raising events, attend conferences, and organize volunteer trips to East Timor. Our goal is to connect the Brandeis community with a local community to create a meaningful impact.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
