Club Description
The Wun Hop Kuen Do Kung Fu club pratices Wun Hop Kuen Do Kung Fu, a mixed martial arts style that stems from Kajukenbo and further back from Kenpo. Kajukenbo is a composite system derived from KArate, JUdo JUjitsu, KENpo, and chinese/western BOxing. Wun Hop Kuen Do means "combination fist art style" and it emphasizes a pratical, street based approach to the martial arts, while still maintaining traditional aspects of kung fu, including forms and a focus on self-improvement. In addition, this club emphasizes cardio workouts and conditioning. The club has members of a variety of skills levels, and all levels of experience are welcome to participate or observe a class.
This is a chartered club. That means that it can use University resources and can request funding from the Finance Board.
