  1. Q: How do I use an RSS feed?

    A: RSS feeds are an easy way to browse the latest content from your favourite websites. Click on the provided links to read articles in full. To use RSS (which variously stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary), you need to download a program called an RSS reader or sign up to a web-based RSS service. Once installed, this software will automatically aggregate and display the RSS feeds to which you subscribe.

    myBrandeis currently offers RSS feeds for group news items.

    From the news page for any campus group which can be found at
    "http://my.brandeis.edu/groups/[group_name]/news"

    Simply right-click on the RSS feed link, and paste it into your chosen RSS reader. The headlines and summaries of our articles will be displayed, along with hyperlinks to the full text on myBrandeis.

    Many other RSS feeds are available from other websites.
