Q: What are suggestion emails?
A: Suggestion emails tell you when an item has been submitted to one of your group calendars for you to approve. As an administrator of the calendar, you can decide to approve or reject the event that the user wants added to your calendar. Back to Top

Q: How can I control whether I receive these emails or not?
A: By visiting http://my.brandeis.edu/pvt/home, you can alter your preferences for both approval emails and suggestion emails. If you select "always", you will receive emails regardless of other system settings. Conversely, if you select "never", you will never receive emails regardless of other system settings.
The "group preference" option allows you to be emailed based on what that specific group thinks is most adventageous for its members. Back to Top

Q: How can I alter my group settings for email alerts?
A: Group email settings can be controlled at http://my.brandeis.edu/groups/admin/group_name. By selecting either yes or no for sending suggestion or approval emails, you are able to decide the default settings for administrators and users of your group. Note, these settings can be overridden by users who wish to either always or never receive email alerts. Back to Top
