The University of Chicago Library's Chopin collection includes over 400 first and early printed editions of musical compositions by Frédéric Chopin, maintained in the Library's Special Collections Research Center. The collection includes first editions of individual works, non-first editions of individual works, and collective editions published before 1881.
With Chopin Early Editions, the University of Chicago Library has made this complete collection available online, free of charge. Users can search or browse scores by title, genre, subject, or publisher's identification number. The site is continuously updated as new scores are acquired.
