New Special Collections Spotlight: The Autograph collection, 1621-1985

The Autograph collection contains a stunning assortment of rare autograph documents, which range in date from the early seventeenth century through the twentieth. Donated by various people and spanning five linear feet, this collection sheds light on the different reasons why people collect autographs as well as the importance of the handwritten word in many contexts.
