A new exhibit, “Leave the Bones and Catch the Land: Southern Sudanese Art from Kakuma Refugee Camp,” is now on display at the Main Library on Goldfarb Levels 1, 2, and 3. This exhibition of paintings by young Southern Sudanese refugees residing in Kenya has been developed by students in Dr. Mark Auslander's class, "Museums and Public Memory" (Anth 159a) during Fall 2006. The exhibition includes an audio tour, available on ipods that may be checked out at the InfoPoint on Goldfarb Level 1. This exhibit will be on display through February 1, 2007. More information is available at the exhibit's website and on the Brandeis campus calendar.
